Lviv Polytechnic National University (https://lpnu.ua/en) is the oldest technical higher educational institution in Ukraine and Eastern Europe (founded in 1816). The University consists of 17 institutes, more than 100 departments; autonomous, additional and general subdivisions; Tech StartUp School and SID CITY Science Park etc.
Over the past ten years, according to the results of international and national rankings, Lviv Polytechnic National University has been in the top five Ukrainian universities. Almost 34,000 students are trained in 64 bachelor’s specialties (67 educational bachelor’s programs), 54 master’s specialties (158 master’s programs). The university prepares doctors of philosophy in 54 educational and scientific programs and doctors of science in 38 specialties. The educational process is provided by more than 2,400 scientific and pedagogical workers (inkl. about 500 doctors of science, professors, and 1,500 candidates of science, associate professors).
International cooperation at Lviv Polytechnic is implemented through international academic mobility, training of foreign students, implementation of international scientific and educational projects (primarily Erasmus+) (https://lpnu.ua/en/projects), double degree and "guest lecturer" programs, etc.
